24-Hour Warming & Cooling Center

1139 Main Street, Pawtucket

Since February 2023, OpenDoors has operated a 24-hour Warming & Cooling Station at 1139 Main Street in Pawtucket. This is a low-barrier warming station that is available for any unhoused men and women.  Bed access is limited to 40 individuals at this time, and will now be assigned through CES. For bed placement, call the CES help center at ​401-277-4316.

The warming station will provide:

  • Bathrooms

  • Showers available from 9:45-11:45 am daily

  • Peer recovery and other supportive services

  • Limited dinners and lunches provided by the Pawtucket Food Bank

  • 40 beds assigned through CES

The facility is operated by OpenDoors and owned by the Pawtucket Housing Authority, with operational funding provided by the Rhode Island Department of Housing.
